NEW Health operates on a fiscal year basis. Our fundraising year runs from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023. All gifts and pledges received since October 1, 2022 have been reviewed carefully to ensure that each gift is properly recognized. Occasionally, despite best efforts, a name may be listed incorrectly or omitted. We sincerely apologize if this is the case. Please alert us to such errors by contacting Danny Coakley at 617-643-8105 or email dfcoakley@mgh.harvard.edu.
Charitable Giving
North End Waterfront Health, an affiliate of the Massachusetts General Hospital, was founded in 1971. We provide primary and specialty services to more than 14,000 residents annually at our three sites, located in the North End and Charlestown. We strive to meet current financial challenges. Proceeds from our ongoing fundraising efforts help to underwrite the costs of programs such as services to senior citizens who do not qualify for public assistance. These services assist North End elders so that they may maintain their independence and remain in their own neighborhood. We are also able to provide care on a sliding-fee-scale basis so that high-quality care is affordable to all. Services at NEW Health, including specialties, outreach, transportation, and food insecurity and nutrition programs, are provided to patients in all stages of the lifecycle, from infants to elders.
We fund many of our services and projects in large part due to the generous giving of our community and partners. Please consider donating to our health center so that we can continue to provide top-quality care and services to our patients and community.

Plaques for a Loved One
Donate in memory of a deceased loved one. In his/her honor, a brass plaque will be placed on the memory board in our front lobby.
