The North End Senior Programming Coalition is a group of neighborhood organizations and residents who come together monthly to support and uplift older adults in the North End. Our purpose is to keep seniors informed and connected by sharing timely information about local events, programs, services, and resources that enhance quality of life.
In addition to serving as a hub for communication, the committee helps plan and promote community events and works to amplify the voices of North End seniors. By listening, collaborating, and advocating, we strive to ensure that the needs, interests, and perspectives of older adults are represented and valued within our neighborhood.

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) is your neighborhood community music school, welcoming adults and seniors from the North End, Charlestown, and beyond. Explore group classes in guitar, piano, and ukulele, or take private lessons with our talented faculty of 50+ professional teaching artists.

Everyone belongs at NEMPAC. Tuition assistance is available for all ages and experience levels, so cost is never a barrier to learning and thriving through music.

We proudly participate in Massachusetts’ Card to Culture Program. EBT or SUN Bucks cardholders and their families automatically qualify for partial tuition assistance—typically at least 50% off one class or private lesson, with larger awards based on need and availability. Assistance is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here to complete our Adult Tuition Assistance Form.

We also have volunteer opportunities for seniors supporting our reception needs in the North End.  Please contact our Operations Manager, Miguel Petris, to join our Band of Volunteers at operations@nempacboston.org.
