As our 2024 fiscal year comes to a close, please take a look at some of the outstanding work we have done to provide positive health outcomes in our communities. NEW Health is an incomparably valuable pillar in our communities as we provide care beyond our health center walls and prioritize our community’s needs. Please take some time out of your day to listen to one of our patients, Sophia, as she talks about her experience with NEW Health.

"Being homebound, I don't really know what I would do if I lost these services...The great healthcare I get at home has kept me from having to go to an assisted living facility."
Mary Caputo 104-year-old NEW Health patient
"This blessing of 2 bags of produce each month helps another 15 or so people besides myself to prevail in these unprecedented, grueling times"

"As a board member, I have a front seat to understanding the dedication of the leadership team and to understanding the very high caliber of care delivered at NEW Health. I and my family are also very satisfied patients, with NEW Health providing for so many of our needs. I am proud to donate funds to help NEW Health to help them fulfill its critical mission of caring for our community; they listen to the community's needs and work to provide a robust and important range of services."

"I was drawn to NEW Health because of the community mission. I appreciate the multidisciplinary in-house care teams as well as what this health center does outside our walls."
Elizabeth Turnock, MDNEW Health Physician since 2002
“I find myself frequently telling my teens when they are slow to make a start, something is better than nothing. Our family supports the New Health community fridge because I want my kids to recognize that seemingly small gestures of generosity can bring joy and relief. We might not be able to instantly witness its outcome, but practicing a life of generosity is a worthwhile pursuit that oftentimes begins through the smallest of gestures and acts of kindness which have the potential to create valuable ripple effects of positivity right where we live. We want to support the good and beautiful work that the New Health staff is doing right here in our own neighborhood."

At NEW Health, we measure success not just in medical milestones, but in the profound and lasting influence we have on the lives we touch. Every interaction, treatment, and endeavor is a part of a larger tapestry of impact that extends far beyond the walls of our facility.
With a steadfast commitment, we’ve connected stories of healing, resilience, and growth – building a foundation of well-being that reaches individuals, families, and our community. Explore the real changes we’ve been a part of, each contributing to a journey of positive health and vitality.
Culturally Sensitive Care
At NEW Health, we understand that every individual is unique, shaped by their culture, beliefs, and experiences. That’s why we go the extra mile to ensure that their healthcare journey is a reflection of their identity and values. Our team of healthcare professionals is not only highly skilled but also culturally aware, making patient’s comfort and well-being our top priority.
We take pride in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where we can openly discuss health concerns without fear of judgment. Our holistic approach to care combines medical expertise with a deep respect for your cultural background, ensuring that a treatment plan is tailored to the patient’s specific needs.
NEW Health’s Food Access Program provides support for over 200 families every month. One of the initiatives that allows us to reach this amount of people is our Monthly Produce Distributions. In March 2024, WBZ’s Levan Reid stopped by our health center to learn more about the initiative and the program at large.
