As part of Phase 2 of the State’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout, North End Waterfront Health will be providing vaccine to all eligible primary care patients, as well as eligible community residents of the North End, Waterfront and Charlestown. As of February 18th, eligible persons now include Phase 1 individuals, those age 65 or older, individuals living in low income senior housing or affordable senior housing, and those age 18 and older with two or more health conditions that increase risk for severe illness from COVID-19 (see list below). If you don’t meet one of these criteria, you will need to wait until the next level of Phase 2 is approved by the State.
Cancer (currently active cancer, not past history of cancer)
This group does not include individuals who are immunocompromised due to other conditions, such as blood or bone marrow transplant or HIV
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding and have questions around getting vaccinated, a discussion with your healthcare provider might help you make an informed decision.
If you are eligible and would like to schedule an appointment, please call the number listed below that corresponds to the site where you receive primary care or reside. Please leave your name with spelling, address, your date of birth, and a telephone number at which you can be reached. A patient service representative will call you back to schedule the appointment. We will be verifying your information to assess your eligibility at the time of scheduling. Please only leave one message, as we anticipate high demand. You will receive a call back as soon as possible.
Please also note in order to schedule a vaccine appointment, you must be registered with Massachusetts General Brigham. If not, please call 866-211-6588 to register. Thank you for choosing North End Waterfront Health for your health care needs.
Do not be alarmed if you do not receive an immediate call back for a COVID vaccination appointment. Due to extremely high demand and lack of available doses we are limited to the amount of appointments we can make each week. We will continue to work through the back log of calls as quickly as possible. Your patience would be greatly appreciated as we continue to do everything we can to get the community and our teachers vaccinated.
